If you would like to rebook your ticket, search for your booking via “Search booking” by clicking on the link below. When you have opened the booking, select “To rebooking” to complete the rebooking process. Tickets must be rebooked before the train’s departure time.
The ticket price, excluding the booking fee, is converted into a credit value (on the same order number) that can be exchanged for one or more new tickets. You must use the entire credit value at the same time.
You can use your credit voucher to purchase:
- Rebookable ticket
- Tickets that can neither be rebooked nor refunded
- Travel on SJ’s trains
You cannot use your credit voucher to purchase:
- Refundable tickets
- Multi-tickets, e.g. SJ Monthly pass (månadsbiljett) and SJ Annual pass (årskort)
- Travel with a train operator other than SJ
- Travel with public transportation companies only
- Last minute (Sista minuten) tickets
If you have collected a paper ticket, you cannot rebook it online. A collected paper ticket can only be rebooked at an SJ Resebutik travel office.
If there is no SJ Resebutik travel office near you, send the collected ticket to: SJ AB, Box 68, 601 02 NORRKÖPING. You will then receive a voucher in the mail which you can use at www.sj.se, by calling +46 771 75 75 75 or at any SJ Resebutik travel office.
Travelling at a later date?
If the ticket was purchased before the 17th of January 2017 the rebooking credit value is valid for 90 days from the original departure date. If the ticket was purchased from the 17th of January 2017 the rebooking credit value is valid for 180 days from the original departure date.
