SJ AB Terms and conditions of log in

These terms and conditions apply to the login account you have as a customer of SJ AB, reg. no. 556196–1599, (hereinafter “SJ”). When you order a login account, you also agree to the terms and conditions set forth below in this document.

You can login to your account in SJ’s digital channels (sj.se, SJ App and SJ Labs). After you have logged in, you can view your information, your bookings, your travel history and, for those of you who are members, your SJ Prio membership under your profile. You can also change and update personal information, register payment cards, and book journeys and manage company links, etc. When you book a journey or apply for compensation in connection with delays, your information will be pre-completed in the purchase dialog.

SJ only provides login accounts to SJ Pio members, SJ Biz travellers and annual pass holders. The login account is personal and may not be transferred to any other party.

The login account may only be used by you personally in digital services and functions provided by SJ, e.g. SJ App, SJ Labs or Sj.se. You are responsible for all activities which take place using your login account and for protecting your login details so that others are not permitted access to them.

SJ reserves the right to immediately close a login account in the event of any breach of these login terms and conditions or any misuse of the login account.

Should you no longer wish to have a login account, you may contact customer service at kundservice@sj.se, which can help you close the account. The login account will be closed automatically if you lack an active SJ Biz link, SJ Prio membership, or annual card and have not logged in to the account for six months.

The current account terms and conditions can be viewed at https://www.sj.se/en/travel-terms/terms-and-conditions-of-log-in.html, and via a link in the SJ App. SJ may change the contents of these login terms and conditions. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email, SMS, through the service, or through the publication of a new version on our website not later than 30 days prior to the entry into force of the change.

With respect to other terms and conditions related to purchases and journeys with SJ, we refer you to SJ’s Terms and Conditions of Purchase and SJ’s General Terms and Conditions of Travel which can be viewed at sj.se.

When you register and use your login account, SJ will collect personal data regarding you. Your privacy is important to us. Therefore, we are ardent about processing your personal data in a safe and secure manner, and in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation. You can read more about how SJ processes your personal data, and for what purposes, as well as information regarding your rights in connection with the processing of your personal data at www.sj.se/dataprotection.
