Track maintenance in Stockholm
Purchasing a ticket
This is where you'll find information regarding which train stops at which station, how the track work affects our range of SJ commuter tickets and the easiest way for you to buy a ticket for the SL commuter trains.
The easiest way to travel to and from Stockholm during summer 2019
From 24 June to 18 August, inclusive, SJ trains from the south to Stockholm and south-bound from Stockholm will stop at Stockholm Södra or Flemingsberg station instead of Stockholm Central.*
If you need to reach Stockholm Central the easiest way is to travel by SL commuter trains between the stations. Commuter trains to and from the city centre stop at Stockholm City, a commuter train station a few floors below Stockholm Central. You can buy your ticket for the SL commuter train when buying your SJ ticket.
The journey by commuter train between Stockholm City–Stockholm Södra takes 3 minutes, and Stockholm City–Flemingsberg takes 19 minutes.
